Athlete

Athlete é uma banda de indie rock inglesa natural de Deptford, Londres, composta por Joel Pott (vocal e guitarra), Carey Willetts (baixo e vocal), Stephen Roberts (bateria e vocal) e Tim Wanstall (teclado e vocal). Recentemente, o quarteto recrutou Jonny Pilcher, da banda Weevil, como guitarrista em apresentações ao vivo.

Em 10 de junho de 2007 foi anunciado o título do terceiro álbum da banda: Beyond the Neighbourhood. O álbum foi mixado por Ben Allen e Michael Brauer, que também trabalharam em Tourist. Beyond the Neighbourhood foi lançado no dia 3 de setembro do mesmo ano, entrando em 5º lugar nas paradas inglesas.
